Winston is a timid little guy trying to find his place in a big, loud world. He bonds quickly with other animals and takes comfort in their presence, but people will need to earn his trust slowly.

He needs a calm home with other dogs, no kids, and someone who will give him space, time, and patience. His safe spots, like a crate filled with blankets or a pillow fort on the couch, help him feel secure.

Winston has come a long way. He now greets me at the door and even asks for belly rubs, which is a huge step. He follows a routine, walks to and from the car without a leash, and lets me brush him. He is not food motivated, but he loves liver and prefers space during mealtime.

He may be shy, but with the right person, Winston will be an incredible companion. He just needs someone willing to go at his pace.
