Hank is a big, lovable boy with a heart just as large as his paws.

He’s house-trained, kennel-trained, and will happily sit for a treat, especially if he thinks snacks are involved! Friendly and affectionate, Hank has grown up around cats, other dogs, and children. That said, he can be a bit of a “bull in a china shop,” so we recommend supervision around small kids.

True to his bloodhound roots, Hank is curious, stubborn, and always eager to follow his nose. A home with a secure fence and plenty of opportunities for exercise is a must. Prior experience with scent hounds or the breed is highly encouraged to help Hank thrive.

Hank is being rehomed through no fault of his own. His previous owner is facing health challenges and can no longer give Hank the time and attention he needs. He was raised as a beloved companion, not for show, but he is eligible for AKC registration.

Hank is microchipped, healthy, and ready for his next adventure with a loving family who can match his energy and affection.
